Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Since 2006, we accept household hazardous waste (HHW) from our citizens at the Red Pine solid waste management site. To provide a more accessible service that better meets our citizens’ needs and expectations, in 2008 we began organizing HHW collections in our communities. As you can see from your collection calendar, this year we will hold household hazardous waste and electronic waste collection events in the following communities:

Spring 2020

Due to the measures put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, to comply with the latest recommendations of New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer of Health and to ensure the health and safety of our staff, the Chaleur Regional Service Commission made the decision to cancel the spring 2020 Hazardous Waste Collection. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fall 2020
