Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Since 2006, we accept household hazardous waste (HHW) from our citizens at the Red Pine solid waste management site. To provide a more accessible service that better meets our citizens’ needs and expectations, in 2008 we began organizing HHW collections in our communities. As you can see from your collection calendar, this year we will hold household hazardous waste and electronic waste collection events in the following communities:

***Spring 2021***

The Chaleur Regional Service Commission invites the public to its hazardous waste collection that will be held at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre (14 Sean Couturier Ave.) in Bathurst on Saturday, May 15, from 9 am to 3 pm.

***The collection will be held in compliance with the public health’s guidelines and recommendations in effect at the moment of the event. Masks are mandatory, and social distancing measures will also be in place.
